The NFL and Aristocrat Gaming have collaborated on a new slot machine game that will be featured in eight states, including Florida.
The new NFL Super Bowl Jackpots slot machine game was originally launched on Aug. 31 with hopes that a partnership between the NFL and Aristocrat Gaming will bring new users and fans to both brands.
So far, eight states are on the distribution list for the new slot machine within some of their casinos. Those eight states are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oklahoma and Oregon.

When using these new Super Bowl Jackpots slot machines, players can play as any NFL team. That means patrons to Florida casinos can select any team in Florida such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins or Tampa Bay Buccaneers in addition to every other NFL franchise.
The Florida casino industry is already booming with 15 casinos that has led to over $7.5 billion in economic impact according to the American Gaming Association. These new NFL-based slot machines should only help those numbers improve.

From Aristocrat senior vice president of commercial strategy John Hanlin’s point of view, the combination of the NFL and Aristocrat Gaming slot machines is a match made in heaven which should lead to great performance. He said so in his interview with The Nevada Independent.
“If you overlay a map of the NFL teams and large casino markets, it’s pretty identical, other than a few locations. There’s been a lot of partnerships between casinos and NFL teams that create a nice relationship between us who provide great games to the casinos and the NFL. The NFL is one of the biggest brands in the world. The game has a ton of energy so we’re launching in a big way.”
Hanlin went on to say that the goal is to make players feel like they are actually at a football game.
“[The slot machine] is really about the spectacle of being in the stadium and watching sports, so we’re really focused on making sure you feel like you’re in the game or playing the game.”
This marriage of the NFL and slot machine games is the first of its kind, as NFL’s senior vice president of consumer products Joe Ruggiero stated.
“The unveiling of the first NFL-themed slot machines represents an opportunity to bring the league closer to our fans in a new area.”
More NFL-themed slot machines coming in the future
Aristocrat Gaming already has plans to release five more slot machine games that are based on the NFL by early 2024. If these new NFL-themed offerings do well, Aristocrat Gaming and Hanlin hope it will lead to partnerships with other professional sports leagues such as the NBA, MLB or NHL.
“We’re open to all opportunities in the space. We’ve been focused on this journey with the NFL and this portfolio of games. We want to reach all types of slot players on the floor and really serve all the NFL fans that choose to play slot machines.”
The process of combining the NFL with Aristocrat Gaming’s slot machines seemingly went very well. Aristocrat Gaming chief executive officer Hector Fernandez spoke highly of both the NFL and its efforts during the collaboration and that the new NFL Super Bowl Jackpots slot machine is expected to do very well in many markets including Florida.
