The holiday season comes at the end of November, but the entire month is worth celebrating for Florida poker tournaments.
Online poker in Florida isn’t legal yet. However, nearly $10 million in guaranteed prize pools is on the live felt in November across the Sunshine State poker rooms. The schedule is headlined by a pair of World Poker Tour events at bestbet Jacksonville and Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.
The Moneymaker Tour also has a Florida stop in November, and more than a handful of other rooms will run independent events with six-figure guarantees totaling over $1 million worth of prize pools statewide.

November 2023 Florida live poker tournaments
Floridians have a loaded poker tournament schedule in November. The two WPT events are a part of festivals that offer over $8.5 million in guaranteed prize pools, including $1 million and $3 million guaranteed main events.
Outside of Jacksonville and Hollywood, players have attractive events to look forward to at six other Florida poker rooms. Keep reading to see the list of offerings.
WPT Events at bestbet Jacksonville and Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood
The WPT returns to bestbet Jacksonville for the first time since 2019, offering a 20-day festival that began on Oct. 26 and runs through Nov. 14. The festival features two major events. The rest are mostly single-day events with buy-ins between $300 and $500.
- November 2-5: $1,700 Mystery Bounty ($300K Guaranteed)
- November 10-14: $5,000 Main Event ($1 Million Guaranteed)

Upon Jacksonville’s conclusion, the WPT heads south to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood for its annual Rock n Roll Poker Open Main Event, running Nov. 24-29. The $3,500 tournament has a $3 million guarantee and should challenge a $5 million prize pool despite taking place over Thanksgiving weekend.
The complete RnR Poker Open series runs from Nov. 15-28 and has 49 events on the docket with more than $3 million in additional guarantees. Highlights include:
- Nov. 15-20: $400 Deep Stack NLH Opening Event ($2 million guaranteed)
- Nov. 19-21: $1,100 Triple Stack NLH ($200,000 guaranteed)
- Nov. 20-22: $200 Big Stack NLH ($200,000 guaranteed)
- Nov. 26-28: $600 Deep Stack NLH ($200,000 guaranteed)
- Nov. 27: $25,500 High Roller NLH ($1 million guaranteed)

Major events fill the calendar
Having two WPT stops brings more poker traffic to Florida in November, which creates the demand for other rooms to up their offerings.
The result? Another $1 million worth of guaranteed prize pools across the state.
- Palm Beach Kennel Club hosts the Moneymaker Tour Main Event ($1,500 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed) from Nov. 2-6.
- Seminole Hard Rock properties in Hollywood and Tampa have $500 one-day events on Nov. 4 with $100,000 guarantees. The $100,000 guaranteed Little Slick ($200 buy-in) follows at both venues, running from Nov. 8-12.
- One-Eyed Jacks/Sarasota Kennel Club will run its Fall Classic from Nov. 3-12. The $1,100 main event with a $200,000 guarantee has starting flights on Nov. 3, 4, 10 and 11. Additional events run on Nov. 7-9.
- TGT Poker Room offers a mystery bounty tournament ($330 buy-in with $250,000 guaranteed) with starting flights from Saturday to Saturday, Nov. 11-18. Day 2 is on the 19th.
- Another $100,000 guaranteed event ($250 buy-in) sponsored by the Bar Poker Open runs at PBKC from Nov. 16-18.
- Club 52 has a $365 buy-in $100,000 guaranteed from Nov. 16-19, featuring five starting flights on the first three days before playing down to a winner on Day 2.
- The GAPT Saturday deep stack NLH at Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club runs on Nov. 25, featuring a $600 buy-in and $100,000 guarantee.
October Florida tournament results
The WSOP Circuit stop at Harrah’s Pompano Beach was the premier Florida poker series in October. Here’s a look at some of the biggest winners.
- Morgan Petro won his fourth career circuit ring in the $1,700 Main Event, topping a field of 825 to win $218,549. The stacked final table included Loni Hui (9th – $20,512), Scott Baumstein (5th – $55,858), Fikret Kovac (4th – $74,060) and Krasimir Yankov (3rd – $99,412).
- Johnny Bromberg defeated Mitch Garshofsky heads up in Event #2 ($600 NLH – $500K guaranteed), beating 1,043 entries to earn $87,936. Garshofsky took home $54,345.
- Adel Jo bested the 376-entry Event #5 ($1,100 Mystery Bounty) to win $56,148. Jo also won Event #9 ($800 Black Chip Bounty) for $14,455.
- Brazilian crusher Marcos Exterkotter reigned supreme in the 109-entry Event #15 ($2,220 High Roller) to earn $61,274. With the win, Exterkotter now has more than $1.5 million in lifetime earnings, with over $1 million coming in Florida poker tournaments.
- Anthony Askey came out on top of a lengthy heads-up battle with Raminder Singh to win the 721-entry Event #7 ($400 Monster Stack). Askey won $42,558, and Singh won $26,304.
- Huicun Qiao won the $400 Seniors Event #4, topping a 272-entry field to win $19,860.
Winners at other Florida poker rooms
- Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s Pinktober Poker Open produced four five-figure winners, including $1,100 Main Event winner Frank Weigel ($60,190) and $400 event #3 winner Nick Scholz ($16,860). Glyn Griffis and Mahmoud Bidarian chopped the opening event for $29,065 each.
- Freddie Solomon won the Daytona Beach GAPT Fall Deep Stack with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, topping 609 entries to take home $37,116.
- Caleb Powell and Sokol Curoi chopped bestbet St. Augustine’s StAC for $29,069 each. The $300 event had an increased guarantee of $100,000 and drew 582 players to outdo the guarantee by nearly $40,000.
- Angel Barajas took first place in the 127-entry GOPO 400 at bestbet Orange Park to win $9,500.
- Juan Rojas got the best of a four-way deal in the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood $150 monthly event with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool for $17,702.
Florida daily poker tournaments in November
Daily tournaments run throughout the week at Florida poker rooms. These events usually finish in a matter of hours and offer smaller buy-ins than major tournament series.
Always call ahead to confirm a specific tournament will run, as rooms will usually suspend these events during larger festivals.
