Florida State Seminoles Odds
Online sports betting is not yet active in Florida. This page will be updated with the latest promos, news and odds once Florida sportsbooks launch.
Now that legal sports betting has arrived in Florida, betting on Florida State Seminoles basketball odds will be a hot topic. While FSU is better known for football than basketball, the Seminoles basketball program has found a lot of success in recent years.
That includes four straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2017-2020 and an Elite Eight appearance in 2018. The Seminoles tip off every college basketball season in November with eyes on winning the ACC and securing a spot in March Madness.

Seminoles NCAAB betting lines explained
Florida State @ Virginia | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Florida State | +3.5 (-110) | +135 | Over 155.5 (-110) |
Virginia | -3.5 (-110) | -165 | Under 155.5 (-110) |
Above is what a typical set of Seminoles game lines might look like for an all ACC tilt at DraftKings or FanDuel. The spread shows the odds in brackets. How does the spread work? Here, if the ‘Noles win or lose by three or less, they cover, and the currently posted odds dictate that anyone betting on Florida State with the points would get paid $100, plus their bet back, for every $110 bet.
Alternatively, suppose the Cavaliers win by four or more, they cover, and the currently posted odds dictate that anyone betting on Virginia minus the points would get paid $100, plus their bet back, for every $110 bet.
Next, you see the moneyline, where you can bet on either team to win the game straight up. Bet on the underdog Florida State at +135 moneyline odds, and if they win, you win $135, plus your bet back, for every $100 that you bet. Bet on the favored Cavs at -165, and if they win, you win $100, plus your bet back, for every $165 that you bet.
Finally, the totals line also shows the odds on totals bets in brackets. You bet the total combined score will land over or under 155.5. That means 165 points or more, or 155 points or less, with no push possible. Choose correctly, and at -110 odds, you’d get paid $100, plus your bet back, for every $110 you bet.
FSU basketball live odds & prop betting
College basketball props let you bet on team and player stat lines. Some states have limited college basketball props to team betting, but it doesn’t appear Florida will. That means you can bet on Seminole player stats during every game.
The state doesn’t plan to restrict live betting on college basketball, either. That means you’ll be able to bet on all kinds of game lines and an increased number of in-game props in the middle of Seminoles basketball games at odds that change with the action on the court.
Check with any Florida online sportsbook to see what kind of live college basketball bets (also known as micro bets) are available during Seminoles games. But remember, live odds can change fast, which means online sportsbook apps are the best way to get a bet down fast enough.
