The arrow is pointed up for Trevor Lawrence’s charges this year. A season after the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback led his team to only the second division title in 23 years, the young squad is aiming even higher.
In his first year at the helm, new head coach and offensive guru Doug Pederson vaulted the Jags’ offense into top-10 league rankings in yards and points after four years of languishing at the bottom. Behind Lawrence’s Pro Bowl-caliber sophomore year and running back Travis Etienne’s 1,000-yard season, the Jaguars finished the 2022 regular season with nine wins and a victory in a Wild Card game before losing by only seven points to eventual NFL champion Kansas City Chiefs in a divisional playoff matchup.
With former Atlanta receiver Calvin Ridley and kicker Brandon McManus as key offseason additions, the Duval County squad is looking for a conference championship berth this year.
Now that you’re primed for another season, here are things all fans need to know before heading out to TIAA Bank Field to cheer on the Jaguars:
How to get to and from TIAA Bank Field
Fans have plenty of transportation options to get to The Bank, including by boat. What? Home game attendees have the “regular” routes to get to the stadium – car, taxi, Uber, Lyft and shuttle, but with The Bank’s location right on the St. Johns River, there are “water” options to arrive.
Car/boat
Parking lots open four hours before kickoff. The cost to park starts at $35 and goes up from there. Some parking options include:
- Season parking passes;
- The Sports Complex Parking Garage: Available on a drive-up basis on game day;
- Jacksonville Fairgrounds;
- Tailgaters Parking Lot; and
- Motorcycle parking is available south of the Jacksonville Fairgrounds lot at Duval Street and A. Philip Randolph.
The Bank is one of the more unique stadiums in all sports with its boat docking option to get to the venue. Contact the Jacksonville dockmaster at (904) 630-0839 for more information. Boat docks are located south of TIAA Bank Field along the St. Johns River.
Taxi/Uber/Lyft/water taxi
Taxis are available after the game at Lot Z across from the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena.
Guests utilizing rideshare for transportation after the game should arrange a meeting location on the west side of the stadium by Beaver Street and A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard, near Lot Z.
Guests utilizing rideshare on game day should exit on the west side (Gate 1 and Gallagher West Club Gate) to easily access the rideshare pick-up location.
The Jacksonville Water Taxi has seven stops on the St. Johns River with one located four blocks from TIAA Bank Field. A round-trip ride goes for $10 on game day.
Shuttle service
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) offers its convenient Gameday Xpress for a fee with complimentary parking on game day. The buses run to and from the stadium from several downtown and suburban locations. Shuttle service begins two hours before kickoff and ends one hour after the game.
Tailgating
Parking lots open four hours before kickoff (and the party can go on for two hours after the final whistle). Every lot at TIAA Bank Field is available for a pre-party, except the Sports Complex Parking Garage. Tailgating is limited to the lined parking space and the area directly behind or in front of each vehicle. It’s also permitted on the medians that separate the parking lots and the parking lots from the roadways but not in spaces for physical distancing.
There is a very popular private lot called Tailgaters Parking that offers an upgrade to pre-partying at The Bank. A five-minute walk from the stadium, this lot features clean restrooms with attendants, a full-service bar and grill and “customizable assigned parking.”

Jacksonville Jaguars tickets and bag policy
All fans are required to possess a ticket to enter the stadium. For kids younger than 2 years old, guests can contact the Jaguars Ticket Office regarding the steps to obtain a lap pass ticket in advance or visit the Game Day Ticket Office located between Gates 2 and 3.
Guests can use mobile tickets through the Jaguars app to enter using self-scan kiosks on game day. This is by far the most convenient option. For hard copies of tickets, the ticket office at TIAA Bank Field opens four hours before kickoff and closes at the end of the first quarter.
The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect. The Jaguars encourage fans not to bring any bags into the stadium. Outside food is OK if it is unwrapped and placed inside a clear, one-gallon plastic bag no larger than 11-inches-by-11-inches.
What to know about TIAA Bank Field
Getting into the stadium
The Bank opens three hours before kickoff to access the Fan Entertainment Zone. Club, suite and the entire seating bowl tickets get access to their areas two hours before game time. TIAA Bank Field has a strict no re-entry policy.
Best seats
Seating sections are pretty simple to understand at The Bank. Levels 100 and 200 are lower bowl seating, while level 400 is the top.
For afternoon games, the south endzone (sections 146-150) and the last three rows of the 200 level provide the most shade in the stadium. You will be in the sun all day long if you are on the opponents’ sideline, in the north endzone or anywhere in the upper bowl.
Other areas to check out include the Bud Light Party Zone in the lower bowl’s south endzone. It opens two hours before kickoff to pregame and is open for all ticket holders. If you aren’t about Bud Light, you can enjoy craft beer and cocktails there, too.
For a more kid-friendly setting, the Family Zone (section 227) prohibits alcohol and using profanity.
If you want to go all out, splurge on a Party Deck Cabana. These 50-seat cabanas grant fans access to the pools of TIAA Bank Field that provide a front-row seat overlooking the action on the field.
Cashless
TIAA Bank Field is cashless, and no ATMs are available. Those with cash needing to convert to cards for purchases in the stadium can visit the nearest Guest Services Booth for assistance. Guest Services Booths are located at sections 104, 123, 143, 410, 436 and East and West club lobbies.
Bring your water
One water bottle per attendee is allowed if it is factory sealed and no larger than 16.9 fluid ounces. Empty misting fans are also allowed.
