Seminole Hard Rock’s management team is a back-to-back champ. Seminole Gaming was named the best-managed company in the gaming industry for the second year in a row.
This year’s win is a fitting follow-up to 2021. Florida-based Seminole Gaming/Hard Rock International was also the first privately-owned gaming company to win the award from Deloitte Private and the Wall Street Journal.
As well as being named the best-managed company in the gaming industry, Seminole Hard Rock was named the top “employer of choice” in the gaming industry in February. It’s the sixth such win for Seminole Gaming in seven years.
CEO Allen says award is reflection of passion
The latest award thrilled the company. Hard Rock International Chairman and Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen was happy to win again. He said the double-dip is a “reflection of our passionate team members who maintain and uphold brand standard excellence across all of our properties, at every level of our business.”
Allen said Hard Rock’s business mottos are what tie the company’s efforts together. They allow it to succeed.
“Today more than ever, we believe in bringing to life the mottos we were founded on. Love All-Serve All, Take Time To Be Kind, Save The Planet and All Is One. There’s nothing more gratifying than seeing these mottos infused in everything we do as a company.”
The contest judges companies in four areas:
- Strategy
- Execution
- Culture
- Governance financials
Ingrained in those four areas are a host of business operations that include:
- Executing strategies
- Hiring the right people
- Building a strong company culture
- Implementing metrics that accurately measure the company’s progress
2022 is a good year for Hard Rock so far
The award continues the company’s strong start to 2022.
Two months ago, Forbes also honored Hard Rock International. The publication named Hard Rock International one of the top large employers for 2022 in the travel and leisure industry.
The company still has a chance to finish first in J.D. Power’s North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study for the fourth consecutive year.
Seminole Gaming/Hard Rock International operates the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. It also runs Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee and Seminole Casino Brighton.
