Crypto.com is preparing to launch a new set of prediction markets centered on artificial intelligence adoption, with more than 20 contracts expected to begin rolling out in September.

Unlike most prediction products tied to elections or sports, these contracts will focus on how AI is changing workplaces, consumer behavior and major industries. The markets will trade through OG Prediction Markets, an exchange and clearinghouse regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The contracts will track AI adoption across work and consumer sectors

According to the source report, the first batch of contracts will cover consumer behavior, workplace changes, company adoption, healthcare, retail and financial services. Outcomes will be determined using survey data and company disclosures rather than event results such as an election outcome or a game score.

Crypto.com and PYMNTS have also agreed to an exclusive two-year partnership for the products. PYMNTS Intelligence will supply the data used to settle the contracts.

That data set includes monthly surveys of 4,000 U.S. adults about AI use in work, education, shopping and healthcare, along with a quarterly survey of 500 U.S. companies on AI agents and automation. PYMNTS also reviews company filings, earnings materials and public statements for evidence of AI investment, revenue effects and workforce changes.

More contracts are expected after the initial September rollout

The report says about 25 additional contracts are expected each quarter after the initial launch. PYMNTS has collected nearly 30 months of historical information to build a baseline for future measurement.

For prediction-market users, the main takeaway is that Crypto.com is expanding beyond the categories that typically dominate the space. The specific contract questions and the exact September launch date were not disclosed in the source report.

For now, the clearest details are the subject matter, the planned rollout scale and the use of a CFTC-regulated venue for trading and clearing.
