Hard Rock Bet has launched its online sportsbook and casino in Ontario, giving the brand its first market outside the United States.

Ontario players can access Hard Rock Bet through Apple and Android apps as well as a desktop site. The launch follows the operator receiving its Ontario iGaming licence about two months earlier, according to Covers.

The move puts Hard Rock Bet into one of North America’s most competitive regulated online gambling markets. Covers reported that Ontario has nearly 50 provincially regulated operators running more than 80 online sports betting, iCasino, and bingo sites.

For Hard Rock, the Ontario rollout also comes with an in-person connection. The company operates Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Ottawa, which gives the brand a physical presence in the province and lets it tie online play to its broader rewards ecosystem.

Hard Rock Digital CEO Marlon Goldstein said the Ontario debut is the first time the company has taken its platform to an international audience. Christine Crump, president of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Ottawa, said the launch helps the brand stay connected with guests both on and off property.

For Florida readers, the main takeaway is broader than an immediate product change. Hard Rock Bet is already live in 10 U.S. states, including Florida, Illinois, and Michigan, and the Ontario launch shows the company is extending the brand beyond its domestic footprint rather than limiting it to U.S. expansion.

What comes next is less clear. Covers noted that Alberta is the other Canadian province with a competitive iGaming market, but Hard Rock has not confirmed any launch plans there.

As with any gambling expansion story, players should watch for confirmed regulatory and product updates rather than assume a launch in another market is imminent. If you gamble, do so responsibly.
