Michigan’s 15 online casinos generated $303,016,076 in revenue in August 2026, according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board figures cited by Sports Betting Dime. That was up 15.1% from $263,270,693 in August 2025 and marked the sixth straight month the state’s iGaming market cleared $300 million.

The August total also produced $61.2 million in state tax revenue, plus another $21.9 million for city and local jurisdictions.

August growth stayed positive, even at Michigan’s slowest pace of 2026

While August extended Michigan’s strong run, the 15.1% year-over-year increase was also the state’s lowest monthly growth rate of 2026 so far.

Even so, Michigan remained ahead of last year’s pace. Through the first eight months of 2026, statewide online casino revenue reached $2,409,649,709, up 21.4% from $1,985,128,480 during the same period in 2025.

The source also compared Michigan’s August performance with two other major U.S. iGaming markets. New Jersey reported $259.3 million in August online casino revenue, up 4.4% year over year, while Pennsylvania posted $328.6 million, up 12.7%.

FanDuel led the market, with Hard Rock Bet above $20 million

FanDuel led Michigan’s August online casino revenue with $72,722,808, followed by BetMGM at $64,143,027 and DraftKings at $44,284,964.

Hard Rock Bet generated $20,199,967 for the month, placing it behind BetRivers at $22,490,383 and ahead of Fanatics at $19,549,281. Other reported totals included Caesars Palace at $17,340,640, Golden Nugget at $9,286,789, Hollywood Casino at $8,023,028, bet365 at $7,104,762, BetParx at $4,847,185, FireKeepers at $4,447,997, Eagle Casino at $3,574,097, Horseshoe at $2,948,106, and Four Winds at $2,053,041.

For players and industry watchers, the latest report shows a Michigan market that is still growing at a double-digit annual rate, even as that growth has moderated compared with earlier months this year. The next useful data point will be whether the state can extend its streak of $300 million-plus monthly revenue in September.
