Specifically, users will not find:

How to sign up at FanDuel Predicts
Registration for FanDuel Predicts is handled entirely through its standalone mobile app, as there is no desktop version available. The app can be downloaded from the App Store (for Apple (iOS) devices) or Google Play (for Android users).
Since I already had a FanDuel account, when I began the signup process, FanDuel recognized me and had me register on Predicts using the information I had already provided. If you’re new to FanDuel, you’ll be prompted to enter basic account details, including an email address, phone number, and other personal information, followed by identity verification.
Because FanDuel Predicts operates as a regulated event contract product, verification must be completed before funding or trading can occur. These steps for registering an account will be familiar to those who have already registered for other online gambling accounts.
When you’re ready to fund your account, you’ll discover you have to complete an “eligibility check,” which involves answering questions about your financial background. These include questions about your employment status, annual income, liquid net worth, and source of funds. While I have no concerns about FanDuel protecting user information, I would imagine this step might prove a barrier to entry for those who don’t wish to disclose this kind of personal information. The other prediction market platforms I’ve registered with haven’t required this type of info.
Note that FanDuel Predicts is a separate app from the sports-related and casino products. That is, it is not contained within the same app. You have to download it separately, but you can use your existing FanDuel account if you already have one.
There is no FanDuel Predicts promo code to apply during registration. This is similar to FanDuel’s other products, which generally don’t involve promo codes either. However, those other products tend to have welcome offers, while FanDuel Predicts currently does not.
Once approved, I was able to add funds and submit my first order almost immediately. From download to the first trade, the entire process took about 10 minutes.
