Kalshi prediction markets are moving across sports, politics, entertainment and macroeconomics, with this week’s biggest swings tied to an NFL Week 2 matchup, Brazil’s presidential race, the upcoming _Resident Evil_ reboot, a Northern Ireland referendum contract and the Federal Reserve’s September decision.

The Action Network highlighted five contracts drawing attention for different reasons, underscoring how event markets can reprice quickly as new information hits. On Kalshi, contracts trade between 1 cent and 99 cents, with prices reflecting the market’s live estimate of an outcome’s probability.

NFL and entertainment contracts are among the most watched

One of the featured sports markets centers on the Chiefs hosting the Colts at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night Football. The source notes that Patrick Mahomes is back from a torn ACL, Daniel Jones is back from a torn Achilles, and Kansas City added Kenneth Walker III in the offseason.

Outside sports, Kalshi is also tracking the Rotten Tomatoes score for the _Resident Evil_ reboot, which releases Sept. 18. That contract was sitting around 81, with the source article suggesting an 80-to-85 range as a reasonable landing zone.

Political and macro markets are also repricing

In Brazil, Kalshi’s presidential election winner market showed Flávio Bolsonaro ahead of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for the first time since polling began. The contract prices cited were 53% for Bolsonaro, 46% for Lula and 1.5% for Renan Santos. The article says the first round of voting is set for Oct. 4.

Another featured contract asks whether the UK’s Secretary of State for Northern Ireland will formally call a border poll on Irish reunification before Jan. 1, 2030. The source article said comments from President Donald Trump in Dublin and statements from UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham helped keep attention on that market.

Kalshi’s September Federal Open Market Committee contract has also swung toward a quarter-point increase after August inflation data and remarks from Chair Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole. The FOMC meets Tuesday and Wednesday.

What prediction-market users should watch next

For readers who follow event contracts rather than traditional sportsbook odds, the near-term dates are clear: the Chiefs-Colts game, the Sept. 18 _Resident Evil_ release, Brazil’s Oct. 4 first-round vote and this week’s Fed meeting. As with any prediction market, prices can move quickly as headlines, polling, reviews and official statements change the market’s view of the likely outcome.
