Kalshi has made its app available in Spanish for users in the United States, a product update the company says follows a sharp increase in activity from Spanish-speaking users.

The federally regulated exchange, which operates in a way that resembles a betting app, said Spanish-language use on the platform has grown fivefold since the start of 2026. According to Kalshi, Spanish-speaking users now account for 12% of the platform. The company linked that growth to interest in markets tied to the World Cup and political elections in California and Florida.

Spanish version now available on Apple and Android

Kalshi said U.S. users can download the Spanish-language version of its app through Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

The platform lets users trade on the outcome of a wide range of events. In comments published by the _Miami Herald_, Kalshi culture lead Clarissa Bronfman said activity includes elections as well as entertainment-style markets, saying, “You see people trading on elections, but also things fun like who will play the next James Bond.”

What the update means for users

For users who prefer Spanish, the change is aimed at making the platform easier to understand. Bronfman told the _Miami Herald_, “For people that really understand how powerful that information is, it’s important for them to understand it in their native tongue.”

The source article does not detail which features have been translated beyond saying the app is now available in Spanish, and it does not provide a launch date beyond the Sept. 4 report. It also does not mention any regulator response to the expansion.

For Florida readers, the state appears in Kalshi’s explanation of what is driving interest, with Florida elections cited alongside California and the World Cup as part of the recent increase in Spanish-language usage. Beyond that, the report does not identify any Florida-specific operational or regulatory change tied to the rollout.
