Regulated and crypto-native platforms both made the list
The guide identifies OG, Novig, and ProphetX as CFTC-regulated U.S. venues. It also highlights several crypto-native options with different infrastructure and settlement models.
Limitless is described as an onchain prediction market on Base, while Zeitgeist is built on Polkadot/Substrate. Myriad is presented as a media-native onchain platform deployed across several chains, with BNB Chain as its main network. SX Bet is described as a non-custodial peer-to-peer exchange running on SX Rollup, an Arbitrum Orbit L2.
The source also points to product differences that may matter to experienced users. Outpoll, for example, offers limit and market orders, native take-profit and stop-loss tools, and USDC settlement. Developer tools and access details remain a differentiator
Several of the platforms provide public APIs, SDKs, WebSocket feeds, or other developer tools, according to the guide. Limitless, for instance, officially supports four SDK languages: TypeScript, Python, Go, and Rust.

The guide also flags platform-specific risks
The comparison warns readers not to treat every listing as equally mature. Among the issues noted: thin liquidity on some platforms, mid-chain migrations, unreleased tokens, retired features, and stale public documentation.
The source says Manifold’s real-money mode was retired in 2025. It also notes that some Zeitgeist public documentation had not been updated since 2023. For SX Bet, the guide says the older SX Network chain is being wound down and the SX token is being retired.
