Tyreek Hill’s latest injury update is driving fresh activity on prediction market Kalshi, where traders are weighing whether the wide receiver returns to the Miami Dolphins, retires, or lands elsewhere in 2026.

Hill said he is about 10 months removed from two surgeries after what the source described as a severe knee injury. In comments cited by Deadspin, Hill said his left leg still has “no power” as he works through recovery.

> “My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it’s one day at a time,” Hill said.

According to the report, Hill also said he was told after the injury that he might never walk again, but added: “The Cheetah will be back.”

That uncertainty is now showing up in Kalshi’s market on Hill’s next team. The market, which settles on Dec. 31, 2026, has logged just over $308,000 in volume. Miami or retirement is currently the leading outcome at 39%.

The Kansas City Chiefs are next at 12%, followed by the Chicago Bears at 8%. The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots are each at 6%, while the Washington Commanders sit at 3%. The Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers are each at 2%.

For prediction-market users, the main takeaway is that Hill’s health appears to be the central variable. He is 32, and the source notes he led the NFL in receiving yards with the Dolphins in 2023, but his own comments suggest recovery remains a work in progress.

What comes next is still unclear. The open questions are whether Hill will be medically cleared to play in 2026, whether he returns to Miami, and whether retirement becomes the final outcome. Until there is a firmer update on his recovery, that uncertainty is likely to remain reflected in the market.
